Eligibility Criteria for KAUST Scholarships

• All countries are eligible for the KAUST Scholarship programme.
• Applicants for master’s degree programs must have a bachelor’s degree.
• Candidates for doctoral degree programs must hold a master’s degree.
• Students need to be in top academic reputation, in strong moral status, and both physically and mentally well.
• Candidates are not permitted to be recipients of several scholarships.
• GRE is not required. It is recommended, though, and might improve your selection.
• The admissions code for KAUST is 4139.
• The average GPA of students admitted is 3.7 out of 4.0, but there is no minimum GPA requirement.
• The acceptance rate of KAUST is also only about 20%, which is quite low.
• The student’s secondary school graduation certificate must not be older than 3 years.
• Students must not be younger than 17 years old or older than 25 years old for the undergraduate level.
• A Female student must be accompanied by a relative who is within the prohibited degrees with a regular resident.
• Applicants must be healthy both physically and mentally, excellent in academic standing and with good conduct.
• Applicants may not hold any other scholarship at the same time.
• Complete and Full Application Form should be submitted.
• There is No Application Fee.
• Students must be eligible for admission requirements.
• Students must not be older than 30 years old for Master, and 35 Years for PhD
• The student must provide two recommendation letters from his/her previous faculty members.
• Students must not have been dismissed from one of the Saudi Institutions.
