Eligibility Criteria National Fellowship for Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation:
This Fellowship requires the following qualification:
- The program is applicable to both Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who hold permanent engineering jobs at Indian government-funded institutes.
- The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and sufficient professional credentials.
- As of the award date, this candidate must have at least five (5) years of remaining service with the parent company.
- The candidate must choose only one fellowship if they are selected, and they should not be holding any other fellowships.
Benefits National Fellowship for Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation:
This Fellowship provides the following benefits:
- In addition to normal salary, the fellowship amount is Rs. 25,000 per month.
- a 15.00 lakh rupee annual research grant.
- An annual overhead to the host institution of Rs. 1 lakh.
- According to the Government of India’s IT rule, the fellowship is taxable.
