The Amsterdam Economics and Business Talent Fund is a new scholarship initiative for Master’s applicants with financial needs. The fund provides a limited number of full scholarships to highly talented non-EU students who need financial aid. Through the scholarship program, we strive for diversity while providing financial assistance to gifted students from low-income economies.

Eligibility for the University of Amsterdam Economics and Business Talent Fund:
- Students need to hold non-EU nationality only.
- Students should have no financial possibility to pay for an MSc study.
- Students should have excellent academic results, in the top percentile.
- Students not be entitled to receive a Dutch study grant or loan (“Studiefinanciering”).
- Students should not receive a full coverage scholarship for the same period of study as the scholarship.
- Students should have submitted a complete application to one of the MSc programs in Economics and Business before 15 January.
- Students should be able to comply with Dutch visa regulations as indicated by the Dutch Immigration Service (IND).
- Students must submit a complete application before 15 January, including the documents mentioned under the Selection criteria and Application process.
Application Process:
- Students must apply along with a letter to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.
A 300-word motivation letter outlining:
- What makes you worthy of a scholarship? Explain your academic achievement and, if relevant, any additional academic distinctions.
- How this scholarship will assist financially, along with a statement attesting to the veracity and accuracy of the information provided?
