OSCE Academy Scholarships for MA Degrees in Kyrgyzstan 2026–2028
Are you a student from an OSCE member state or Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, or Uzbekistan, or from another Central Asian nation? Are you pursuing an MA in human rights and sustainability, an MA in economic governance and development, or an MA in politics and security? Apply to the OSCE Academy in Kyrgyzstan for fully supported MA Degree Scholarships. For the 2026–2028 academic year, the OSCE Academy in Kyrgyzstan is offering 80 fully paid scholarships for students from the aforementioned nations to study in Kyrgyzstan. Starting on September 1, 2026, the full-time, 18-month MA programs will be offered. All enrolled students must attend the preparatory Summer School, which will be held from August 4 to August 29, 2026, prior to September 1st. To pursue their preferred degree, students must travel to and live in Bishkek. The Kyrgyz government and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) established the public OSCE Academy in Bishkek in 2002. The OSCE Academy advances the ideals and objectives of the OSCE through professional training, research, post-graduate education, and intellectual exchange.

Eligibility Criteria of OSCE Academy Scholarships:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
- Candidates must be citizens of one of the participating OSCE states or Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, or Uzbekistan.
- possess a Bachelor’s degree in a comparable discipline, or are anticipated to finish one before beginning the program (four-year BA, final-year BA, or Specialist Diploma).
- High proficiency in the English language (at least 90 on the TOEFL or 6.5 on the IELTS)
