Eligibility Criteria for FAO Internship 

  • Nationality: Nominees belonging to FAO member states can apply.
  • Education: Students in Undergraduate/Graduate programs or recently graduated can apply.
  • Languages: Nominees must have knowledge of at least one of FAO’s official languages (French, English. Spanish, Arabic, Russian or Chinese) Understanding of any other language would be a plus point
  • Age: 21-30 Years
  • Skills: Applicants must have good communication skills and basic understanding of computer programs
  • Family Relation: Nominees whose family members (Mother, Father, Brother, Sister) are working at FAO under any contract are not eligible.
  • Nominees pursuing internships must be between the ages of 21 and 30.
  • Candidates should be versatile and flexible enough to work well in a global, multi-cultural setting.
  • Nominees should be proficient communicators.
  • Candidates should be very proficient in fundamental computer programs.
  • Before beginning an internship program, nominees must have achieved residency or immigration status in one of the FAO member nations.

  • Proof of enrolment in an undergraduate or graduate program or a recent diploma.
  • Evidence of language competency.
  • Visa.
  • Motivational letter.
  • Language Proficiency certificate.
