General prerequisites:
- Candidates cannot be citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran or Iran.
- There must be no legal limitations on remaining in Iran or continuing one’s studies.
- must show a recent certificate of physical and mental health that has been approved by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s political or consular agencies in their home country, or by the university’s accredited medical facilities.
Specific Requirements:
- A minimum certificate equivalent to completing one of Iran’s mandatory educational courses—such as high school (12 years of formal education), a bachelor’s degree, or a master’s degree—is necessary for admission to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs.
- If the applicant has already studied outside of Iran, they must request permission from the Iranian Embassy by submitting all transcripts and certificates of study.
- Master’s and doctoral programs require initial admission to be approved by the relevant council.

- An image of the first page of the passport (valid for at least eight months)
- The most recent scan of the degree certificate

- A $35 application fee (2180000 USD) is required.
