The Renewable Entrance Scholarships offer varying amounts based on the admission average:
CAD 4,000 x four years (up to CAD 16,000) for admission averages of 95-100%.
CAD 3,000 x four years (up to CAD 12,000) for admission averages of 90-94.9%.
CAD 2,000 x four years (up to CAD 8,000) for admission averages of 85-89.9%.
CAD 1,000 x four years (up to CAD 4,000) for admission averages of 80-84.9%.
These scholarships are renewable annually with a GPA of 10.0 (A- standing) and are applicable for fall entry only.
Eligibility Criteria:
For Canadian High School Students:
Admissions average of 80 percent or better.
First-time enrollment at Carleton University from high school or CEGEP.
No previous attendance at post-secondary educational institutions.
Application for admission and all required grades must be received by Carleton’s Admissions Services by June 15.
For College/University Transfer Students:
Excellent academic record from a Canadian college program or transferring from another Canadian university.
First-time enrollment at Carleton University.
Not having completed a degree previously.
For International High School Students:
Admissions average of 80 percent or better.
Meeting language requirements.
First-time enrollment at Carleton University from high school.
No previous attendance at post-secondary educational institutions.
Application for admission and all required grades must be submitted by the specified deadline.
Procedure for Application:
Based on their admission average, high school students from Canada and other countries are automatically considered for the award at the time of admission.
If they meet the requirements, transfer students from colleges or universities are eligible for the scholarship; the scholarship’s worth is based on their admissions average at the time of admission.
Before the deadline, complete admissions applications with all necessary grades must be submitted for consideration.
