Russian Scholarship Open Doors 2025
The Open Doors Russian Scholarship for International Students for 2025 is provided by the Association of Global Universities in collaboration with the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education. This fellowship (Olympiad) is open to international graduate and undergraduate applicants, including stateless individuals and fellow citizens residing overseas. In order to be eligible for the Master’s track, applicants must either hold a bachelor’s degree or a document attesting to their completion of secondary education. To apply for the PhD track in the year of the Olympiad final, candidates must also hold a Master’s or Specialist’s degree. The competition primary aim is toward aspiring graduate and undergraduate candidates and allows winners and runners-up to study at any Russian university (including top-tier Russian ones) with tuition fees covered by the state, which translates to a 100% tuition discount plus a government scholarship at one of the top-tier Russian universities.

Eligibility Criteria of Russian Scholarship Open Doors:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
- Participation is open to all foreign residents, including stateless individuals and citizens who are living abroad permanently.
- Participants must present documentation attesting to their secondary education, bachelor’s degree, or master’s degree in order to be eligible. People can present their transcript or another document attesting to their educational level if they haven’t received their documents yet or for other such reasons.
- Study Languages: Participants have the option of speaking English or Russian.
