Scholarship for the 2025 Dan L. Meisinger Sr. Memorial Learn to Fly
The Dan L. Meisinger Sr. Memorial Learn to Fly Scholarship 2025 is available to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in aviation. Your application must be submitted before November 28, 2025. The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) is offering this scholarship, which has a partial funding value of USD 2,500. All nationals are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Context:
In honor and memory of Dan L. Meisinger Sr., who had a 63-year career in aviation, the Dan L. Meisinger Sr. Memorial Learn to Fly Scholarship was created. He was twice elected Beech Aircraft’s Man of the Year and founded Executive Beechcraft, which has its headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri. The purpose of this fund is to provide an annual flight training scholarship to a qualified individual.

Eligibility Criteria of Dan L. Meisinger Sr. Memorial Learn to Fly:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
- Candidates must be enrolled in an aviation program at their current college.
- Candidates must have a “B” average or higher and be top achievers in the classroom.
- While direct applications are accepted, students should get a recommendation from an aviation professional.
Duties:
Recipients must notify NATF of any changes in their address, enrollment in school, or other applicable information, as well as provide copies of any relevant training documents. NATF, its scholarship selection committee, and the National Air Transportation Association accept no responsibility other than that which is stated above. The recipient will be solely responsible for any tax liabilities.
Benefit:
The $2,500 Dan L. Meisinger Sr. Memorial Learn to Fly Scholarship must be spent specifically for initial or primary flight instruction.
