Masters and PhD degrees in the fields of marine technology, civil engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, and environmental science are available through the 2024 TJU Chinese Government Scholarship: Silk Road Program. Eligibility:
- Candidates must be nationals of nations that are part of the Road and Belt initiative.
- A bachelor’s degree applicant must be younger than 25.
- A Master’s degree applicant must be younger than 35.
- To be eligible for a Ph.D., a candidate must be under 40.
- HSK5 certificates are required for applicants to Chinese-taught programs.
- Candidates for programs taught in English must submit a certificate of English proficiency.
- Applicants shall be of good moral character, physically and mentally healthy, and willing to comply with Chinese laws and the regulations of Tianjin University.
How to apply:
- The scholarship requires online applications from interested parties.
- The following documents must be included with the application:
- High school, bachelor’s, and master’s degree scan copies
- scan of a notarized copy of the academic records for high school, college, and graduate school,
- passport photocopy,
- A certificate of proficiency in either Chinese or English
- Resume with Study Experience,
- Form of TJU Professor’s Provisional Acceptance of an International Student
- research strategy or study,
- Two recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors, written in either Chinese or English,
- Foreigner Physical Examination Form photocopy
- Any additional records that the provider requests.
