Outstanding international students from all over the world who want to enroll in a full-time, two-year master’s degree program at a participating public or private higher education institution in Colombia are eligible to apply for fully financed scholarships from the Colombian government.
The Colombian government agency in charge of advancing higher education, ICETEX, provides funding and oversees the scholarships. Scholarships from the Colombian government are offered for a variety of degrees and academic disciplines. Applications are being accepted from students with a wide range of academic backgrounds. For the course of the program, the Colombian government offers complete support. This covers full tuition fees, visa charges, health insurance, a monthly stipend, and many other benefits that we will explain later in the “Coverage” section.

Qualifications:
- All foreign nationals, with the exception of Colombian citizens, may apply.
- In Colombia, the applicant must not be married or in any other type of partnership.
- The applicant’s age cannot be more than fifty.
- possessing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the relevant field.
- If the applicant’s most recent coursework is in English, there is no need for the IELTS.
