Eastern Mediterranean University is the only state university in Northern Cyprus. The university is a full member of the European University Association and the International Association of Universities. Eastern Mediterranean University is ranked 501-600 in the 2023 Times Higher Education World University Rankings and 782 in the 2023 US News & World Report. Eastern Mediterranean University offers 68 bachelor’s degrees in English. The university also provides scholarships for international students.
