Scholarship of the RMLA (General Category) 2025
For master’s degrees in resource management-related subjects, the RMLA Scholarship (General Category) 2025 is available. This scholarship can be applied for here. You have until August 15, 2025, to submit your application. This award, which is worth NZD 5,000 in partial funding, is offered by the Resource Management Law Association (RMLA). This scholarship is available to all citizens.

Eligibility Criteria of Scholarship of the RMLA:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
- Graduate students enrolled in a master’s program at a university in New Zealand or abroad, including an undergraduate honors degree at the advanced research level, are eligible for this grant.
- Students pursuing doctorates are not eligible.
- Candidates having a track record of independent research, such as a dissertation, directed study, or research article at the honors or masters level, are given preference.
- The supervisor of earlier studies must make a recommendation.

This scholarship provides the following benefits:
- Students seeking a Master’s degree can receive financial assistance through this program.
- Up to three $5,000 scholarships, totaling $15,000, may be given out in a single year.
- If permitted by the guidelines of the other scholarships, students may receive this scholarship in addition to other awards, and payment may be made in installments.
How to apply
- Applicants must fill out the application and send it to the RMLA by August 15th in order to be considered.
- A letter endorsement from the preceding research’s supervisor should be submitted, if applicable.
- If permitted by the regulations of the other awards, the scholarship may be given out in conjunction with them.
