Masters degrees in the following fields are available through the ADB Japan Scholarship Program 2024–2025: Science and Technology, Economics, Business and Management, Development Studies, Law, and Public Policy. Your application must be submitted by August 20, 2025. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is offering this scholarship, which has full funding and covers all costs, including living expenses, travel expenses, and tuition. This award is available to citizens of both Japanese ODA scholarship-eligible countries and ADB borrowing member countries. Approximately 135 graduate scholarships are available annually under the ADB-Japan Scholarship Program (JSP) for studies in business and management, economics, science and technology, and other areas important to development. Nationals of an ADB borrowing member nation who have been accepted into an authorized master’s A program at a designated institution are eligible to participate in the program.

Eligibility Criteria Scholarship Program for ADB Japan:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
- The candidate must be a citizen of a nation that is eligible for Japanese ODA scholarships and an ADB borrowing member.
- The candidate cannot be a dual citizen of any developing nation.
- The candidate must have been accepted into a master’s program at a recognized university.
- Candidates must be in good health and not older than thirty-five.
- The applicant must have a strong academic record and a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
- After completing their education under the program, the applicant should consent to return home and aid in the development of their nation.
