Scholarships at National Chiao Tung University (2026) (Fully Funded)
International students can apply for the fully financed National Chiao Tung University Scholarships 2026–2027. Master’s and undergraduate degrees are eligible for NCTU International scholarships. For undergraduate, master’s, and doctorate students, these scholarships offer NT$21,000, NT$25,000, and NT$30,000 per month, respectively.To encourage internationalization, National Chiao Tung University provides scholarships to deserving overseas students who have demonstrated excellence in their academic and research achievements. The Taiwanese Ministry of Education (R.O.C.) has provided grants and subsidies to support the scholarship. In theory, the scholarship is given out for a full academic year, although students may reapply and have their applications assessed frequently depending on their research and academic achievements.Located in Hsinchu, Taiwan, National Chiao Tung institution is a public research institution. One of Taiwan’s top universities, Nanyang Public School was founded in 1896 by an imperial decree of the Guangxu Emperor. International students can apply for NCTU international scholarships for the spring semester of 2021. Applications for international student scholarships to study in Taiwan are now being accepted.

This scholarship requires the following qualification:

- Required Language: English.
- Students must have their bachelor’s degree/transcript (16-year) eductaion at the time of application for Master’s Degree applications.
- Applicants must have their master`s degree/transcript (18-yesr) education at the time of application for PhD degree applications
- Applicants must have an outstanding academic record
- Must have a strong interest to study/research in Taiwan
- Students will be preferred if they have extracurricular achievements, community engagement, social responsibility, and leadership skills.
- Students must be able to demonstrate their English proficiency skills (if you have English proficiency letter from your previous institution it will be acceptable)
