Scholarships at the University of Winchester 2026

International students can apply for partially financed scholarships through the University of Winchester Scholarships 2025–2026. Both undergraduate and graduate studies are eligible for these awards. They provide tuition fee reductions of up to £5,000 annually. International Students Scholarships are available to international students attending the University of Winchester in the United Kingdom who are studying undergraduate or graduate degrees. Any international (non-EU) student applying to the University for a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree is eligible for the International Students Scholarship. For international students, Winchester provides a secure and encouraging global community.

This scholarship provides the following benefits:

  • International Student Scholarship – Postgraduate £5,000
  • International Student Scholarship – Undergraduate £4,000

Eligibility Criteria:

This scholarship requires the following qualification:

  • Eligible Countries: All World Countries.
  • Required Language: English
  • The International Students scholarship is available to all International (non-EU) students applying for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate program at the University.
  • Only applicants applying for full-time programs at the Undergraduate or Taught Postgraduate Level are eligible. Applicants for ELTSU programs (including the International Foundation Program and the Certificate in English for International Students) are not eligible.
  • ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS For undergraduate study:
    • IELTS with a score of 6.0 overall, including at least 5.5 in the writing element.
    • TOEFL iBT with a score of 60 overall, including at least 18 in the writing element.
  • ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS For postgraduate taught study:
    • IELTS with a score of 6.5 overall, including at least 5.5 in the writing element.
    • TOEFL iBT with a score of 79 overall, including at least 18 in the writing element.
