Eligibility Criteria of Scholarships at the University of Alberta:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
- Candidates have to be citizens, permanent residents, or students with a study permission in Canada.
- The department should either transfer students from a master’s to a doctoral program or admit them to a doctoral or thesis-based master’s graduate degree program.
- Students must have an entrance GPA of at least 3.5 and be enrolled full-time in a master’s program that requires a thesis or a doctorate.
The scholarship’s value
- Scholarships will be given out in $5,000 increments. The number of $5,000 increments that a student can receive is up to the department.
