Information about Shanghai University’s 2024 Shanghai Government Scholarship
The Shanghai Government Scholarship is available at Shanghai University 2024 for undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees in the subjects taught there.
The Shanghai Municipal Peoples Government is offering this scholarship, which has full funding, tuition costs plus stipend and accommodations. International applicants are welcome to apply for this award, with the exception of China.

Eligibility for Shanghai Government Scholarship at Shanghai University:
- The applicants must be in excellent health and non-Chinese citizens.
- Candidates for bachelor’s degrees must be under 25 years old and recent high school graduates.
- Candidates for master’s programs must be under 35 years old and hold a bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates for doctorate programs must be under 40 years old and hold a master’s degree.
Procedure for Application:
Step 1: Open the Shanghai Government Scholarship website, select it, and fill out the online application.
Step2: Log in to finish the online application at http://apply.shu.edu.cn. Pay the 500 RMB non-refundable application fee.
Step 3: The Shanghai University Scholarship Committee will examine the submitted materials and compile a list of recipients of scholarships.
Step 4: Post the list of scholarship applicants online by the end of June at http://apply.shu.edu.cn.
Step 5: Get official admission documentation and pay the tuition deposit online.\

Half-scholarship: Provides for tuition
Fully funded scholarships include stipend, housing, and tuition.
