Slovakia’s National Scholarship Program (NSP) for 2025:

Eligibility:
- Available to all international students worldwide.
- University students must be enrolled in institutions outside of Slovakia.
- Master’s Students: Anybody enrolled in a Master’s program at the second level of higher education is eligible.
- If an undergraduate student has finished at least two and a half years of university coursework in the same program by the application deadline, they are eligible.
- Programs for full-time bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees are not covered by this grant.
- Intended for short-term study or research stays, not for full degree completion.
- Applicants must have an invitation or acceptance for a study or research stay at a Slovak higher education institution or research organization.
- Submission of a comprehensive study or research plan detailing the goals and advantages of the stay in Slovakia is required.
- Those without a PhD who work as university professors, researchers, or artists must have less than four years of experience.
- PhD holders must fall into one of two groups: those with less than ten years of professional experience or those with more than ten years.
- It is necessary to be proficient in the language of instruction or research, which is usually English or Slovak.
- must fulfill particular standards established by the Slovak organization or institution.
- To be reevaluated, past award recipients must demonstrate noteworthy advancements in their education or careers.
