Eligibility Criteria of STEM Scholarships:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
- To finish SACE Stage 2, the applicant must be starting SACE Stage 1 in 2023.
- The candidate needs to be a student in a government school.
- The applicant needs to have a school card, albeit this is not necessary for Aboriginal students.
- The candidate must show an interest in STEM fields (at least a C in science and math in year 10).
- At least one of the following SACE Stage 2 subjects must be pursued by the applicant: physics, chemistry, or mathematics (methods or specialist).
- The candidate must agree to take part in a mentorship program that is conducted somewhere other than the student’s school.
- The candidate must be open to joining the teacher-mentor for a STEM scholarship induction.
