Switzerland’s EPFL Life Sciences Summer Research Program 2026
For exceptional undergraduate and graduate students worldwide, the EPFL Life Sciences Summer Research Program (SRP) 2026 provides a fully paid 8-week internship in Switzerland. Under the direction of knowledgeable faculty, the program, which is hosted by the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), offers practical research experience in a range of biological sciences. No IELTS or application fee is needed for the research projects, workshops, and cultural exchange activities that take place from July 3 to August 27, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria of EPFL Life Sciences Summer Research Program:
- Students of all nationalities are welcome.
- Quantitative biology, chemistry, bioengineering, biophysics, bioinformatics, or biology courses are required.
- The student must have completed the first year of a master’s program or at least two years of undergraduate coursework by the time the program begins.
- Recent bachelor’s degree graduates (within the last 12 months) may also be applicants.
- a strong foundation in the principles of biological sciences, including biotechnology and cell biology.

- Stipend each month: CHF 1,700
- Free lodging is offered by EPFL.
- Travel costs to and from Geneva are paid round-trip.

- One to two pages make up a curriculum vitae (CV).
- A letter of motivation that is up to 750 words long.
- Lab Preferences: brief description (two to three sentences for each of the three laboratories).
