Eligibility Criteria of Switzerland TaDA Residence Program:

This scholarship requires the following qualification:

  • be from any nation (both citizens and foreigners are welcome).
  • Employment in the performing arts, literature, architecture, design, art, or interdisciplinary disciplines
  • Show a keen interest in and commitment to the sustainability, culture, and textile business.
  • Possess rudimentary communication skills in German or English
  • Exhibit a desire to work with regional textile businesses.
  • Ideally possess some understanding of the methods used in the production of textiles.

  • Professional advice and exchange with 12 partner companies and organisations, selective use of their infrastructure
  • Shared accommodation in Arbon, close to the workspaces and Lake Constance (Bodensee)
  • Travel expenses coverage to and from Switzerland
  • Access to a joint workspace equipped with advanced textile production technology
  • Individual professional support by textile designer Martin Leuthold, the TaDA team, and external experts if needed
  • Monthly living expense contribution of approximately 2,000 CHF (about $2,200 USD)
  • Workspace in the former textile and engine factory Saurer AG, jointly used by the three residents
