The Victoria University of Wellington 2025 Tongarewa International Scholarship is available to students pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the university’s subject areas. Your application must be submitted by November 1st, 2025. Victoria University of Wellington is offering this scholarship, which has a partial funding value of up to NZD 10,000. This scholarship is available to everyone, with the exception of citizens of New Zealand.The Tongarewa Scholarships honor the university’s commitment to the community of international students. Eligibility Criteria of Tongarewa International Scholarship:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
- International students enrolled full-time and with full tuition must apply.
- Candidates must be beginning their first year of undergraduate or graduate study.
- Applicants are not eligible if they finished their secondary education at a school in New Zealand.
- Candidates from one of the University’s international partners are not taken into account.
- Candidates enrolled in Victoria University of Wellington’s second year of study in the same degree program are not taken into consideration.
The scholarship’s value:
The successful candidates are granted a sum as either $2,500; $5,000; $7,500 or $10,000.

- Complete transcripts and additional records pertinent to the type of qualification
