Details Mission and objectives The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) is the mandated agency for the coordination of humanitarian response, policy development and humanitarian advocacy. OCHA supports humanitarian organizations to respond effectively to the needs of people caught in crises, to understand and analyze their needs, and to mobilize international assistance. It provides tools and services to help humanitarian organizations ensure that no one affected by a crisis is left behind. The People and Culture Section in OCHA supports and empowers OCHA people to contribute to and thrive in an inclusive and harmonious workplace culture for the effective delivery of OCHA’s mandate, in accordance with UN core values and the OCHA People Strategy.
