- Attend NAU as a graduate student studying anthropology.
- be present at a conference for professionals in their field of study.
- be qualified for financial aid once while enrolled at NAU.
- Students studying sociocultural anthropology who are delivering a paper or a poster are given preference.

- A two-page mission statement: Explain the significance of the conference and your research.
- If you are giving a presentation, include your role (oral or poster presentation), the abstract that was submitted or accepted, the title, the authors, and the acceptance notification.
- If not giving a presentation: Enumerate the people you aim to meet and the desired result.
