Eligibility:

  • must be a national of a nation with diplomatic ties to Japan.
  • born on April 2, 2001, or later
  • Twelve years of schooling are required, or should be finished by March or August 2026.
  • Willingness to study and acquire Japanese
  • To study in Japan, one must be in good physical and mental health.
  • Arrival in Japan must be possible between April 1 and April 7, 2026 (or fall 2026 if direct placement is applicable).
