Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in law at the University of Auckland are eligible to apply for the Davies-Sproule Memorial Prize 2024. You can apply for this scholarship by clicking this link. Your application must be submitted by a different deadline. The University of Auckland is the source of this NZD 500 annual partially financed scholarship. Applications for this award are open to all citizens of the country. This prize was established in 1963 by the University of Auckland Law Students’ Society in memory of Thomas Gary Davies and Graham Wilfred Cotton Sproule, two of its previous members.

Requirements for the Davies-Sproule Memorial Prize in 2024:
Every year, the University of Auckland Council will give the Prize to the student who, based on recommendations from the Faculty of Law, finished the best work for their LLB or LLB(Hons) degree in the subject LAWGENRL 433 Advanced Family Law in the year prior to the award.
If no work that is sufficiently meritorious is sent in for the topic LAWGENRL 433 Family Law, the prize will go to the student who is claimed to have performed the finest work for that course.
