University of Leicester 2025 International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship
Masters degrees in subjects provided by the University of Leicester are eligible for the 2025 International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship. Your application must be submitted by August 31, 2025. The University of Leicester is offering this scholarship, which has a partial funding value of GBP 5,000. All nationalities are eligible to apply for this award.The institution is pleased to recognize the high caliber of master’s degree applications it receives and offers an international merit scholarship. This merit-based fellowship, worth at least £3,000 annually, is open to international students who are paying for their postgraduate studies at the University of Leicester. Outstanding academic accomplishment will earn applicants a £5,000 higher-level grant. This award is available to students who start classes in January 2026 or September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
- The applicant must be regarded as an international student for the purposes of fees.
- In September 2025, January 2026, and April 2026, the applicant must be enrolled full-time in an on-campus Master’s program or postgraduate certificate program.
- The fee discount will be calculated using the usual tuition for each year of the student’s education.
- The funding will not be given out during academic suspension, retake years, or exchange or industrial placement programs.
- Students are only allowed to receive one University of Leicester scholarship per the scholarship rules. Only when a student receives numerous scholarships will they be awarded the one with the highest value.
- All of the conditions specified in their offer letter still need to be met by students who currently have a conditional offer of admission to the university.
