Afghan women can apply for a free scholarship at the People University:

With great pleasure, the University of the People announces that 1,000 Afghan women will receive free online bachelor’s degree scholarships.

With the help of our supporters’ kind donations, we hope to increase the number of Afghan women who are afraid of the Taliban taking over their nation and are interested in attending school.

The University of People was founded on the concept that everyone has a fundamental right to education. In order to offer high school graduates accessible and reasonably priced higher education, UoPeople founded itself as a non-profit, tuition-free, and recognized online university by the American Association of Colleges and Schools. It provides a range of highly sought-after master’s and bachelor’s degree programs. Currently, more than 75,000 students from more than 200 countries and territories attend the University of People.

Since the institution is non-profit, there are no enrollment or tuition costs, and all course materials are available online for free. Afghan women who are awarded scholarships will have their modest one-time application fees removed. The university charges $240 for graduate-level courses and $120 for undergraduate courses.
