The Wells Mountain Initiative (WMI) Scholarship Program 2024 is now accepting applications from students in underdeveloped nations. Students seeking their first certificate, diploma, or bachelor’s degree benefit from this extremely competitive funding opportunity. The scholarship is applicable for the whole four years of undergraduate studies.
The Wells Mountain Initiative (WMI), based in the United States, seeks to effect social change via education and community development by offering scholarships, training, and other educational opportunities.
Each year, the WMI assists students in achieving their educational goals by awarding 50 to 60 scholarships to students from poor nations who aspire to continue post-secondary school (university, trade school, or polytechnic) courses. The scholarship will be available for the duration of the program.
Benefits of the WMI Scholarship Program
WMI scholarships range from $300 USD to $3000 USD per year and are awarded throughout the recipient’s undergraduate study with an evarage amount of $1500 USD. The amount covers the following items:

Eligibility Criteria
Wells Mountain Initiative Scholarship Program’s ideal candidates are as follows:
- Applicants should have finished secondary school with good to exceptional marks
- Be 35 years old or younger on August 1, 2024
- Studying in their home country or another developing country
- Pursuing a first bachelor’s degree or diploma
- Enrolled in a study program that will benefit the community or contribute to the country’s continued growth and advancement
- Intend to live and work in their home country after graduation
- Demonstrate commitment to give back by volunteering.
- Have some other fund for their study, but will be unable to pursue a tertiary degree without financial support.
Applicants Responsibilities
In addition to the criteria above, applicants should fullfil these responsibilities:
- Maintain good grades in all university courses
- Serve as an advocate for community service and involvement
- Perform, record, and document 100 hours of community service activities throughout the year
- Finish the Academic Semester Report and the Community Service Report for WMI Scholars.
- Official semester transcripts should be sent twice a year.
- Communicate directly with the Education Manager about your circumstances as a student.

Note:
- The requested documents must be in English.
- All documents in other languages should have an official English translations
- The requested files must be in JPG, PNG, GIF, DOC, DOCX, PDF format in 10 versions or newer.
How to Apply for the WMI Scholarship Program?
Eligible applicants can apply in two ways, online or by mailing:
Online Application:

- Applicants must create an account, enter the personal information, upload the documents.
- It is better to apply online as it is easy and safe.
Mailing Application:
- Second, applicants can send their documents by mail.
- Print the Application form (PDF), attach all requested documents, and send them three weeks before the deadline.
- International applicants should send their application at least three weeks before the deadline (March 1, 2024)
