Eligibility:
- Candidates must be citizens of one of the developing countries that have been chosen.
- Candidates are not permitted to be dual citizens of any developed country.
- Candidates need to be healthy.
- Candidates must have earned a bachelor’s degree three years prior to the application deadline.
- Candidates for the fellowship must be working on development-related projects at the time of application.
- Candidates must have worked in their field for at least three years after earning their bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates must possess an unconditional offer of admission to a program that qualifies.
- One cannot be an Executive Director, their substitute, a World Bank Group employee, or a biological or adopted related, including a mother, father, sister, brother, half-sibling, child, aunt, uncle, niece, or nephew.
- Those who have previously declined or not completed a JJ/WBGSP scholarship are not eligible to apply again.
How to Apply:
- To be considered for the scholarship, all qualified applicants must submit an online application. The following elements ought to be present in the application:
- proof that the candidate possesses the requisite number of recent development work experience to qualify.
- diploma for a bachelor’s degree and, if relevant, the applicant’s most recent graduate degree.
- C.V. written in English and in the format specified in Annex 4.
