About:

The Medical Management and Research Courses Afghanistan (MMRCA) is a national, non for profit, non political, humanitarian organization. MMRC-A was established in March 2008 by Afghan professionals and registered as an NGO with the ministry of economy under registration No: 1112

VISION:

To contribute to the achievements of Afghanistan MDGs; through conceptualization, design and implementation of diverse range of projects and initiatives

MISSION:

To aware, empower and mobilize community, civil society and individuals by influencing their full support in the implementation and sustainability of community driven and donor focused; Health, Research, Trainings, Advocacy, and Social development projects, interventions and approaches

MMRCA has undertaken health, Research, WASH, Capacity Building and Community Development Projects with various national and international development partners and donor agencies. Currently, MMRCA is implementing a BPHS, and TSFP projects in Ghazni province, however in the past it has implemented projects in various other provinces such as, Logar, Laghman, Faryab, Paktika, Paktia, Takhar, Badakshan, Sar-e-Pul, Herat, Khost, Balkh, Baghlan, Nangarhar, Badghis, Datkundi, Nimroz, and Nuristan & Kabul. MMRCA is implementing the project of MoPH “System Enhancement for Health Action in Tansition (SEHAT) II” and it has subcontracted the implementation of CHNE program as part of SEHAT II project to The Relief Humanitarian Development Organization (RHDO). The Program Department of MMRCA is headed by the Executive Director.

MMRCA has a defined M&E policy whereby specific M&E frameworks are developed for each project at the inception phase. Based on the M&E framework, mission plans are scheduled and M&E activities are carried out over the project activities, using various M&E tools and standard checklists. M&E reports are prepared on mission basis and on a quarterly basis and action plans are agreed with the provincial project staff based on the findings noted during the M&E missions. MMRCA prepares separate reports for the follow-up activities performed by the M&E team.
