About NGO Jobs in UK-Retail Van Driver

To help us collect and distribute furniture and other donations for our charity shop in Llantwit Major, we are searching for a van driver.

By fostering and expanding stock-generating contacts, taking advantage of local opportunities, and promoting the Red Cross as the charity of choice for stock donations, you will play a crucial part in the development of the local store network in this hands-on position.

For this position, you must possess a complete driver’s license and a license that allows you to drive a car with a manual transmission (you will be driving a British Red Cross vehicle, so please note that, due to vehicle insurance policy requirements, applicants must have held their licence for a minimum of two full years). Due to the fact that this employment requires driving, the proper driver checks will be carried out in accordance with the organization’s current policy.

Greetings to the group.

The first place to help those in need is your neighborhood charity store.

About 6,500 volunteers and 700 paid employees call our 330 businesses throughout the UK home. Bright and vivacious, our crew enjoys interacting with people from all backgrounds.

We always keep in mind the difference our stores make in the lives of those in need while we work to ensure that everyone who comes to see us has a wonderful day.

The Van Driver will work closely with the local store managers, shop workers and volunteers, acting as the initial point of contact for shops in relation to matters of stock generation, stock transfer, collection and disposal.
