to oversee a variety of warehouse tasks, such as the protection of goods and supplies and the provision of well-organized warehousing and storage in accordance with WFP warehouse regulations.
In order to provide prompt and correct reporting on commodity movements in accordance with corporate requirements, the responsible party is also responsible for the accuracy of warehouse transaction records, including the discovery of inconsistencies.
Responsible for inventory management (such as physical stock verification, reporting, etc.), to make sure any issues with proper stock management that are currently or potentially developing are promptly addressed and that WFP standard procedures for handling and storing commodities are strictly adhered to.
Oversee the creation of, or directly create, regular and ad hoc reports and statistics on warehouse operations to aid in planning and decision-making that is well-informed.
oversee the protection of commodities by giving advice on and taking the initiative in putting preventive measures into action. This will help to ensure that commodities are kept in good condition and that quality control actions are started when necessary in accordance with WFP-established procedures.

Education:
- secondary school education is finished. It would be ideal to have a post-secondary certificate in the relevant functional area.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years experience in warehouse management and/or operational experience in any logistics-related activities:
Languages:
- English, the UN working language used in the Philippines, should be spoken and written with ease. proficiency in the national and local languages spoken in the Philippines, both orally and in writing.
