About UN Jobs-Associate of Civil Engineering
The United Nations’ operational resource for contract procurement and management, as well as for civil works and the development of physical infrastructure, is the UNOPS office. The UNOPS has made significant advancements in the country’s infrastructure sector through the development of new projects with the Brazilian government in a variety of operational areas.
This contract calls for involvement in a project involving educational infrastructure and has as its goals a preliminary evaluation of existing structures, contracting for and evaluating engineering and architectural projects, and contracting for and monitoring suspended construction projects in the Porto Alegre/RS municipality. UN Jobs-Associate of Civil Engineering Requirments
Education:
- Master’s degree in education
- Graduation in architecture, engineering, or a related field is distinctive and can replace a few years of experience.
- Candidates and candidates who don’t have a bachelor’s degree but do have a technical diploma will be taken into consideration as long as they have an additional four years of work experience.
- Registration in the professional class council is highly advised.
Experience:
- Value your G-Suite or Pacote Office experience.
- Minimum of six years experience working on infrastructure projects (depending on academic training).
- Previous work experience in an ONU agency will make a difference.
Languages:
- complete Portuguese fluency (leitura, escrita, fala)
- Desirable intermediate-level reading, writing, and oral communication in either English or Spanish.
