About UN Jobs-Communications Associate
The Communications Associate (CA) bears primary responsibility for planning, developing, and implementing communication strategies to implement and promote project deliverables related to the prevention of unlawful construction response under the direction of the Project Manager. Educate the public about the project’s contribution to the country’s urban planning systems’ need for strengthening to handle present and upcoming building activity.
The Communications Associate supports the execution of the communications and advocacy activities connected to project implementation under the direction and direct supervision of the Project Manager. The Communications Associate encourages the UNDP to adopt a client-focused philosophy. When necessary, the Communications Associate closely collaborates with the Country Office’s project, operations, and program employees.
UN Jobs-Communications Associate Requirments
Education:
- Secondary education.
- A bachelor’s degree in public affairs, advocacy, or a similar profession is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in administration, public relations, and communications with secondary education, or 4 years with a bachelor’s degree.
Languages:
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (written and spoken).
Needed Skills
- Experience in social media management (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, IMO, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of graphic design.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and experience in handling web-based management systems.
