Building COVID-Safe Responses And Voices for Equity) through direct contact with the project’s Implementing Partners, the BRAVE Project Coordinator is in charge of coordinating, monitoring, and ensuring proper implementation under the supervision of the Gender/GBV National Programme Officer and SRH National Coordinator (IPs).
Responsibilities:
Work together with Implementation Partners (IPs) to make sure that all planned activities are carried out and that all IP deliverables are submitted on time.
- aid in the evaluation of the IPs’ quarterly monitoring report and offer comments to be sent to the GBV and SRH National Programme Officers.
- assistance with quality control and monitoring of IP activities based on the authorized IP work plan
- help compile and prepare the BRAVE quarterly progress reports that will be sent to DFAT.
- aid in the creation and accuracy of BRAVE’s End of Project Report.
- Determine Project BRAVE success stories that can be used to demonstrate best practices and methods for tackling GBV and delivering MHPSS in emergencies to important stakeholders and the general public. Do this with the assistance of the IPs.
- Work together with the Cash for Protection Consultant to ensure that deliverables are submitted on time and in accordance with the Agreement
- As judged appropriate, provide any additional assistance.
Timeframe and work schedule:
- The consultant will be employed for a roughly four-month term, with the possibility of an extension.
- The location where services will be provided: Manila, UNFPA Country Office
- Dates for delivery and the type of delivery (electronic, hard copy, etc.) of the work:
- The UNFPA Manila office will host the consultant. The major deliverables are given below, however not all of them must be provided in hard copy and electronic form, as appropriate.

Education:
- two (2) years’ worth of similar work experience and a master’s degree in gender studies, related social sciences, or another pertinent field of study
Experience:
- experience in the creation, follow-up, monitoring, and assessment of programs or projects;
- actual programming and implementation experience with MHPSS and GBV programs;
- substantial knowledge in organizing and collaborating with different local partners on a particular project
- strong managerial abilities focused on results; and
Languages:
- Fluency in Filipino and English
