About UN Jobs in Yemen-Education Officer

The Education Officer supports the agenda on system strengthening with a focus on education planning, policy development, impact assessments, and data to improve learning outcomes for children. The Education Officer works under the direction of the Education Manager and in collaboration with the Education section, key partners.

  2. Programme management, monitoring and delivery of results
  3. Technical and operational support to programme implementation

UN Jobs in Yemen-Education Officer  Requirments

Education:

  • A university degree in education, social sciences, or international development is required, along with another related technical subject. A strong educational background is preferred.

Experience:

  • It is necessary to have at least two years of professional experience in the planning, management, and/or research of educational programs. Experience working in a development environment for education is valued as a plus. Experience working for a UN system agency or organization is regarded as advantageous.

Languages:

  • Arabic and English proficiency are prerequisites. It is advantageous to be conversant in another UN official language, such as Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish.
