Depending on the demands of the division or office, the internship lasts for two to six months. The internship is full-time and UNPAID. Under the supervision of a staff member in the division or office to which they are assigned, interns work five days a week for a total of forty hours. The UN Country Team in China, which consists of all UN organizations present in China, is led by the UN Resident Coordinator. The Resident Coordinators System (RCS) creates with the aim of bringing together various UN agencies in order to increase operational activities’ efficiency and effectiveness at the national level. This will help the UN become a more relevant and trustworthy partner for governments, especially by forming and strengthening these partnerships for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The UN Country Team and UN Resident Coordinator’s tasks and responsibilities supportes by the UN Resident Coordinators Office (RCO). The UN Country Team (UNCT) and its many interagency working bodies, such as theme groups, are supported in their interagency coordination efforts by the RCO.Required Qualifications UN Paid Internships – ADMINISTRATION
Education:- enrolled in or have successfully completed a graduate program (second university degree or higher or equivalent); or
- a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent) must be in its last academic year or in progress.
