About UN Remote Jobs-Procurement Consultant

The Procurement Consultant ensures the execution of transparent and effective procurement services and processes for the designated units/projects within HQ – and provides guidance to field and regional offices as assigned, consistent with UN Women rules and regulations. She works under the general direction of the Chief of Procurement and the daily supervision of the Procurement Specialist. The Procurement Consultant will assist: I compliance with UN Women laws and regulations; (ii) efficient processes to enable program delivery and growth; (iii) responsibility to organizational values and principles; and (iv) a supportive working environment where employee potential is realized.

UN Remote Jobs-Procurement Consultant Requirments

Education:

  • A Master’s degree plus one to two years of work experience, or a Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in business administration, law, or a closely related discipline plus at least two more years of work experience

Experience:

  • Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing all facets of the Supply Chain function would be an added advantage.

Languages:

  • Fluency in oral and written English is required;
  • Knowledge of another official United Nations language is desirable.
